Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

1. Who we are. Your Feed is run by Gwenyth Richetti, trading as Your Feed (ABN 25 313 402 356), a nutrition coaching business based in Five Dock NSW 2046 ("Your Feed", "we", "us"). This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share your personal information, and how you can contact us about it. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Our coaching and related records constitute regulated health records under the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW) because we provide a health service, and we handle personal information under that Act, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Your Feed is for adults; we do not knowingly collect information from people under 18.

2. What we collect. Depending on how you use Your Feed:

3. Sensitive information. Dietary requirements, health goals, medical conditions and blood test results are sensitive information. We collect them only with your consent, only when you give them to us, and only to deliver the service you have joined. We never use them for marketing and never sell or share them with advertisers. Where AI tools could help us prepare your plan or brief, you choose on the form where you give your consent whether we may use them: the tool is named there and in clause 6 (Anthropic's Claude). We send it only what the task needs, and our accounts are set so your information is not used to train AI models. If you choose to go without AI tools, Gwen prepares your plan or brief by hand, which takes up to ten business days instead of five. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; we will then stop using that information and lock it away as clause 10 describes, which may mean we can no longer deliver a personalised plan, brief or coaching. Because we provide a health service, NSW law requires us to keep health records for 7 years from the last service we provided to you (clause 9), so we destroy the information when that period ends rather than straight away.

3A. Daily targets and Fridge Scanner. If you set daily targets in the app, we collect your year of birth, sex, height, weight, activity level and goal with your consent, to work out and show your targets. They are health information: they are stored in our own database, shown only to you, never used for marketing or shared, and removed from your account as soon as you delete your targets or your account (a restore copy may exist for up to 30 days); where the law requires us to keep a record of them, it is kept securely for the period in clause 9 and not used. The screening questions before set-up are not stored. If you use the Fridge Scanner, your photo is sent to an AI model running inside our Cloudflare account to recognise the foods in it. The photo is stored privately, read once by the model, never viewed by a person, and deleted within 7 days or as soon as you delete the scan; a photo that shows a person is refused and deleted immediately. The list of ingredients you confirm, and the recipes made from it, stay in your scan history until you delete the scan or your account. We also count, with no link to you or your account, how often each ingredient is confirmed across all members, to improve the recipe library; those counts carry no member identifier and are the only form in which the analysis leaves Your Feed.

4. Why we collect it. We use your information to:

5. How we collect it. Directly from you through our quiz, sign-up and intake forms, emails, messages and calls. Our website, email and payment providers also collect usage information automatically. We do not collect personal information about you from third parties.

6. Who we share it with, and where. We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run Your Feed, each under its own privacy policy. Providers receive, process, store or access information only as needed for their listed functions and only for the categories and purposes described in clauses 3 and 3A. For each provider, this is where your information may be stored or processed, and where the provider's own staff may access it:

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.

7. Overseas disclosure. As clause 6 shows, most of these providers store or process information outside Australia, mainly in the United States, and also in Germany (Jotform), the European Union and India (Stripe), Japan (Resend) and New Zealand (Xero). Before we send health information to a provider overseas we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable with the Australian Privacy Principles, including the provider's contractual commitments and security certifications, and we send it only to deliver the service you have asked for. We update clause 6 whenever a provider or location changes.

8. Security. Your information is kept in password-protected accounts with two-factor authentication, accessible only to the owner of Your Feed. Health information is kept in our coaching records and is never copied into the email marketing system. No internet service is completely secure, so please do not send blood test results or medical details through social media messages.

9. How long we keep it. Each kind of record has its own period, and the clock starts as shown:

10. Access, correction and deletion. You can ask to see, update or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@yourfeed.pro. We will respond within 30 days and will not charge for access. If you ask us to delete information that clause 9 says we must keep, we cannot delete it straight away, but within those 30 days we will: stop using it for any service or contact; move it out of our day-to-day systems into a locked archive that only the owner of Your Feed can open, and only to meet a legal duty or respond to a complaint; ask each provider that holds a copy we do not need to delete it; and send you written confirmation of what we have done and the date the record will be destroyed. Deleted information can remain in our providers' backups and restore histories for a time before it is overwritten (Google up to six months; Cloudflare, Anthropic and Jotform up to 30 days; Resend 7 days; Mailchimp deletes permanently on request); it is not used during that time. You can update your quiz and dietary preferences yourself at any time.

11. Marketing and unsubscribe. We send the weekly recipe email and other marketing emails only if you have clearly opted in, by ticking the marketing box on one of our forms or by choosing a membership that is described at sign-up as including the weekly recipe email. Taking the free recipes quiz does not sign you up for marketing on its own: we send you your quiz results, and nothing more unless you tick the box. We keep a record of when and how you opted in. Every marketing email identifies Your Feed and has a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribe requests are actioned within 5 working days. Unsubscribing does not affect emails about your membership, billing or coaching sessions.

12. Cookies. Our website sets one cookie, to keep you signed in to the member app. We use no advertising or analytics trackers (no Google, Meta or similar pixels); our traffic statistics come from Cloudflare's aggregate counts, which set no cookie. Our weekly email records opens and clicks, as clause 2 says. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still work, though some features may not.

13. Complaints. If you think we have mishandled your information, email hello@yourfeed.pro and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

14. Changes. We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, and we will email members about any significant change.
